Athens Stool is an elementary design created by Paris based architect and designer Léonard Kadid.
Made entirely of solid oak, the geometry of the stool results in the assembly of three folds made with the same angle.
Inspired by classic architecture, this elementary structural principle defines the proportions of the ensemble, bracing the stool in every direction and creating a comfortable seat. The folds are made using a mitre joint and their assembly together is made using a groove joint for a strong and durable connection.
