OLIM corresponds to a personal reflection by Camilo Rebelo about his experience of life and work. This book is a nonlinear narrative, where memory, identity and places are linked to one another in a rhizomatic way, through various stories about his personal and professional life. OLIM challenges readers to search for a meaning in the fragments of journeys and projects that shows us through images combined with diverse thoughts, creating a visual discourse where there is room for coherence, and for paradox and play, too, the oxymoron. OLIM is therefore in everything different from a traditional book, as can be understood by Eduardo Souto de Moura words when he writes that OLIM ... which is not so much a book, but more of a file, and that is why it is called Fichas, just as Wittgenstein put about 700 fragmentary notes in a box, which were not “kept forever, but worked on, changed and perfected, as cuttings.
