Topuro is a lamp that was born from the idea of working with the dematerialization of light - how it advances into space, gradually losing its intensity and dispersing its energy.
Using the concept of series as a metaphorical progression to achieve this. It’s a simple and direct metaphor, like the formalization of the object.
The shades used become detached from their materiality as they move away from the source of light, which is a visual interpretation of the form-counterform relationship.
Simplicity is also maintained in the support of the shades and its support clips, using only the geometry of their shapes to fix their position while working in solidarity to bring structure to its entirety.
Thus, the resolution through simplicity causes that, in formal terms, all its elements dispense with superfluous ornament and gives the object a certain aspect of skeleton or nakedness, thus connecting with the general idea of the luminaire.
Given its size and intended placement, it is a lamp designed to set the mood for a space of domestic proportions, giving it the qualities of a diffused light achieved thanks to the materiality of the different shades used. In the same way, its volume and proportion allow it to be easily integrated with other elements of the room, generating multiple possible compositions.
